VEEP has donated 2 bunk beds to Lamatar Orphange with the Help of RIKI TIKI TAVI, VEEP has raised fund in Spain to buy beds for the children.

Our volunteers has done different projects in school from their micro fund provided by VEEP Nepal in Lalitpur district .

Aurelien was here for 2 weeks Orphanage volunteering programme in Nepal. he came with his friend Maryann from Slovakia. They wored one of VEEP supported orphanage in Lamatar they have very good time in placement after the placment they are going to ABC ( Annapurna Base Camp) and Chitwan for 2 weeks.

Dama, Anna and Leena were here for 4 weeks, 2 weeks working in Orphanage and 2 weeks traveling around the country as well as they did the “Eco tourism” in Lamjung area. 3Girls were very nice and had wonderful time in Nepal. They were very impressed by Nepali culture and life style as well as they enjoyed the Nepali festival of Lights called Tihar , second biggest festival of Hindu. they have also helped orphanage. They have brought Blankets, cloths and stationeries. And they are planning to come back Nepal next year.

Eva is from Spain age of 22, has worked in an orphanage in Godavari. This is her first visit to Out of Europe. She was very scared when she was arrived in Nepal first but later she introduced me to different Nepali friends. Now, she feels much more confidence traveling alone. She says it’s all happened because of VEEP Nepal and its experienced team. She enjoyed rural life of Nepal. Especially bathing with Lungi . She is planning to come back to Nepal next year.

Szilvia has worked with us in 2009 Aug in our Orphanage aid programme. She came from Ireland but originally form Hungary. This is her first visit of Asia. She has enjoyed Nepali culture and tradition a lot. She loves working with kids. She thinks, Nepal visit was short but it was life changing opportunities for her. After her placement in Kathmandu she went to Chitwan trip organized by VEEP. Now she is working as VEEP Overseas contact person for VEEP Nepal. During her stay in Nepal she has brought lots of Gift and Cloths for kids. Kids in orphanage are missing her so much. She has also started sponsoring kids for foods. Which is a big help for the kids of “Sanu Foundation”. And also helped organization in various ways. If any one interested to help “ Sanu Foundation Kids” can contact to her.

Naomi has worked in an orphanage for three weeks in 2009. She is very flexible, easy going and fun loving person. This is her first visit to Nepal. She is one of our volunteers who is sponsoring one of orphan the orphanage she worked .She wants to experience a culture and religion of the world. She wishes to use her skills and knowledge to help and care for others.
